Bio: Annette Jensen is the owner and creative force behind Sweet 200 salon in Dallas, Texas. Annette is more than your average hair stylist. She is highly trained and constantly keeping up with the changing world of style. She’s got her finger on the pulse of fashion. Annette is also an environmentalist. After donating hair for the gulf oil spill, Annette’s latest side project involves recycling the hair we cut, and keeping it out of the landfills.
Education: In 1987, Annette began her hairdressing career at Wisconsin College of Cosmetology. She graduated and started working at Panache Hair Design in Green Bay, WI. She moved to Dallas in 1992, and went to work at Studio 4001, the premiere salon of Las Colinas. In 1993, Annette did an apprenticeship under Chip Wood, and learned the Vidal Sassoon cutting technique. Annette began working as an independent contractor at Alan Piccard Salon and then later at Select Salon. After years of advanced education, and establishing a loyal clientele, it was time for her to open her own salon. Annette has acted as stylist for some of America’s premier musicians, including Cake, The Old 97’s, Ugly Mustard and The Eagles.
